WASHINGTON, DC - As incumbents from both sides of the isle realize that most Americans despise them, they are now uniting against America's best hope - the TEA-Party.
In a joint news conference today, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Speaker Of The House Nancy Pelosi and House Minority Leader John Boehner announced that Democrat and Republican incumbents are joining forces and creating a new political-action-committee (PAC). The new PAC will be known as Democrats and Republicans Against Giving-Up (DRAG-PAC).
They have identified their most dangerous opponents as American patriots, so their first foray onto the television airways will be an ad that denigrates George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. Future TV ads will focus on disgracing Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Samuel Adams and other so-called "Founding Fathers".
