Kristin Davis, the actress from Sex and the City, today endorsed her namesake Kristin Davis (aka The Manhattan Madam) in the NY race for Governor.
Madam Davis is running an outsider campaign promising to legalize marijuana and prostitution.
The actress Kristin Davis listed several reasons for supporting Madam Davis:
1. Hoping this will clear up confusion. I'm not running for Governor - she is.
2. Roger Stone made me do it. He's really scary.
3. Kristin is fun!
4. The major candidates stink: Andrew Cuomo and Carl Paladino are ugly, and Rick Lazio looks gay.
5. Disappointed in the Libertarian Party choosing mathematician Warren Redlich. Boring!
After the press conference, Ms. Davis responded to questions about the candidate's platform: "Of course we should legalize pot - everyone knows that. But prostitution? Yuck!"
