Bristol Palin evidently got off to a late start celebrating the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy last Wednesday when she was spotted at a downtown New York 21-and-over night club partying at 1 a.m. with friends, sans drinks I'm told.
Witnesses stated that Palin appeared nervous and believed it was because she was terrified people might recognize her. The fact that she was only 19 and in a club that catered to adults might have something to do with it as well. She was reportedly not having a good time due to the stress of trying to remain unseen, even though it is obvious the owners of the club needed her to be seen.
Sarah Palin's keen insight into human behavior has evidently rubbed off on her daughter because while most people who celebrate days such as the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy would do so by holding rallies and giving speeches during the day, Bristol went to the source of the problem-adult clubs that allow underage drinkers into their establishments. By going clubbing, Bristol is better able to have a few one-on-one discussions about teen pregnancy and getting the word out in a more direct way.
Nice strategy Bristol. Keep up the good works. Oh, and Happy Mother's Day.
