US movie actress Demi Moore has told her friends she is so afraid of being haunted by the ghost of Patrick Swayze, that she has given up her favourite hobby of making pottery.
Moore and Swayze starred together in Ghost, the 1990 film about Sam and Molly and Sam gets murdered and comes back as a ghost and tries to contact Molly but he can't so he finds Oda Mae, a medium who tells Molly that Sam is trying to contact her but Molly doesn't believe Oda Mae until Sam starts to tell Oda Mae stuff that only Sam could know including replying to "I love you" with the word "Ditto" and then the trio try to exact revenge on Sam's co-worker Carl who is responsible for Sam's murder and ... well, you get the picture.
Swayze, who played Sam in the film, died himself last week, and, frightened that his ghost might visit her whilst she was having a bath, or taking a dump, Moore has abandoned her greatest love - pottery.
In the film, Sam comes back to visit Molly whilst she is doing some pottery, and makes a complete mess of a cup she is making. The scene has been voted the most romantic of all time by people sad enough to take part in such a vote, but Moore now says she is worried that Swayze might haunt her, and try to have sex with her.
Last night, she smashed all her potterywork to bits in a frantic attempt to 'ward off' any potential visits from Swayze, who also 'messed about' with that 15-year-old girl in Dirty Dancing.
