Mountain View, CA - Popular internet site Faceboob.web is suing a well-known social networking site for 'having a name suspiciously similar to our company's name'. According to sources, Faceboob founder Eric Titzler has hired a team of legal experts in an attempt to get Facebook 'taken off the books.'

"Faces and boobs, pretty intuitive combination there," says Titzler, "but faces and books? I mean, maybe if you fall asleep reading a book or something, I don't quite get it. Unless what they did was to take the name of my company, Faceboob, and change the last letter, so they could siphon off our business."

Professor Ted Korsky, who teaches at Harvard Law School, said Titzler's case may actually have some merit. "When you look at similar cases in the past, such as when U2 sued YouTube and got a large cash settlement, you can see that the law is very open to this sort of interpretation."

Titzler went on to say, "It's un-American when a bunch of college kids not only rip off MySpace with their layout and content, but then steal money from the very mouths of my wives and children."

When asked for comment, Facebook's Public Relations Manager Gina Steforsky said, "You woke me up to talk about what? Are you freaking kidding me?"
