Havana Cuba: Cuba has returned another boatload of Americans to South Florida after their unsuccessful attempt to reach government officials in Havana.
A Cuban government spokesperson "attributed the recent number of boats that have tried to get onto Cuban soil to the guardedly optimistic statements made by both US President Obama and Cuban President Raul Castro."
Apparently there are many Americans and Cubans who believe that Cuba is far better off having the USA for a trading/manufacturing partner than the Russian Federation, Iran or Venezuela.
The Cuban government spokesperson added: "This last group represented KFC, McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's and Pizza Hut. The day before we nabbed Hyatt, Motel Six, and Marriott Hotel executives trying to get ashore.
"Tomorrow I expect GM, Chrysler and Ford Motor Company to put in an appearance."
