President Obama today told the United States Of America that he has a dream.
Lots of people have dreams, nothing unusual in that, but Mr Obama has a special dream, apparently. Based on the speech by the late Rev Martin Luther King, Obama alleged that he had a dream whereby:
- Sub prime mortgages no longer exist.
- Negative equity becomes a thing of the past.
- Toxic assets become extinct.
- The Washington Redskins win Super Bowl.
"He's talking shit," said ex-president George Dubya Bush. "The Redskins won't win the superbowl anytime soon. The Cowboys are a better bet. As for all that sub-prime mortgage stuff, and toxic asset business, I wouldn't know about that, I was just the President. Not a banker."
"He was a banker," Donald Books of Salford University in the UK told us. "Probably the world's ultimate banker."
Michelle Obama was doing her nails.
More as we get it.
