Pressured by rising fuel costs and the war in Iraq, the US Navy embarked on a program to reduce fuel costs, by acquiring new warships that rely on solar and wind power. Galleon Enterprises, won the bid securing an order for 150 of the fuel efficient ships.
"I am full of seamen who are environmentally conscious" said Rear Admiral Richard Cranium," and so we need to make sure our ships meet their standards"
"Frankly we should spend more money in guns and bullets rather than gas, so this makes very good sense"
The Navy is getting ready to deploy these warships in the Iraqi waterways. The ships come with camouflage technology that reduces the chance of terrorist attacks against Navy ships. In fact this reporter managed to secure a secret document for an invoice of black flags with skull and cross bones tat will serve as flag for the disguised ships.
