PHOENIX, Arizona - The Arizona Daily-Journal-Times is reporting that Mrs. John McCain will have to put one of her seven mansions up for sale.

Mrs. McCain told Regis Philbin that the cost of her husband's failed presidential campaign went way beyond what she had expected. She said that the gasoline bill alone for their 'Straight-Talk Express' bus was close to $1,000,000 and that did not include two oil changes and a tire rotation.

Mrs. McCain said that her husband had told her privately that he would be willing to take on a second job to pay for the expenses. And she remarked, "No sir, no way, no how, no McCain...we are Republicans, and Republicans do not need to take on second jobs."

John McCain remarked to one of his campaign aides, "I am such a lucky man. My wife is so svelte. She has beautiful eyes, long flowing hair, and hardly any cellulite at all." McCain then added, "And she is without a doubt the second best wife that this ex POW has ever had."

In other news, Burt Reynolds has just informed Entertainment Tonight that he and Sally Field will be filming another sequel to their big hit 'Smokey and the Bandit.' This one is called 'Smokeless and the Ankle-Braceleted Bandit - The Tune-Up Years.'

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
