Governor Blagojevich today announced that he has brokered a deal to sell Alaska back to Russia. Using family connections, he has arranged that an undisclosed sum will be paid though his intermediary - the Junior Senator for Ilinshetia.
Part of the proceeds will be given to incoming President Barack Obama at his inaugeration - specifically to bail out the big three car manufacturers, Ford, GM and Lada, and to the homeless on Wall Street.
Russian Premier Vlad Putin welcomed the deal, and immediately invited Governor Sarah Palin into the Duma and to go hunting with him in the Ukraine.
