Heaven-GOP Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin appeared radiant after another behind-closed-doors meeting with, as she termed it: "My Savior."
Earlier confirmed reports stated that Jesus had given the McClain-Palin ticket a thumbs down.
The determined Palin reportedly became demanding in her appeal for another meeting regarding an endorsement. She said, "I meet with Jesus almost every day. I just knew I had to come before His throne one more time to seek His blessing."
Sources at the meeting say the turning point came when Palin quoted the words of Jesus from the Bible: "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what person is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he?"
Jesus then smiled, "O.K. Sarah, I'm not going to give you a snake. You have my blessing. I endorse you and John."
Immediately after this news reached Barack Obama, he responded. "We've got a Bible verse Jesus needs to honor too," Obama quoted Malachi 3:6, "For I am the LORD, I change not." Saying he would seek a reversal on Jesus' endorsement.
John McCain was not available for comment. Joe the Plumber responded as a spokesperson for McCain.
Joe quoted God from the Bible (Isaiah 55:8-9), refusing to comment further. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts. Nor are your ways My ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts."
