Detroit MI - In a striking turn-around, Ford has reclaimed ownership of the one and only TRUE "Maverick" title and will fight the McCain campaign all the way to the supreme court if necessary to prove it.
"Sure, McCain is old, rusty, worn out and doesn't run well as our existing Mavericks still on the road today" says Ford Chairman Ted Ford, "but just because McCain has an Air Bag doesn't give him the right to the Maverick claim" Ford went on to say.
Ford continues: "The prestige and stature of the one and only Maverick, the Ford Maverick has been damaged because of McCain's plagerism and we (Ford) will seek damages from McCain and Palin to regain the Brilliant Luster the Ford Maverick established during the 3 or 4 years it was on the road."
Commenting on the Lawsuit the McCain / Palin campaign issued a statement stating: "Yugo to hell Ford, John McCain is a Maverick and will eat you alive as the Jaguar he too is"
Later adding: "As for Palin, she is the one and only Aurora Borealis, which appears over Alaska to prove it"
