To set the scene, we have a country in economic disarray, a Presidential election and predictions of another even Greater Depression. Enter the Bush administration seasoned by its mismanagement of a terror attack on US soil (during which President Bush is said to have soiled himself), the misinvasion of Iraq, the abandonment of NOLA and countless other corruptions and misfirings (Cheney's not included).
The Dramatis personae is further complicated by the Congress and its two Presidential rivals with as much econ experience as an Econ 101 student at midterm (with slightly more discipline than a Yale male cheerleader)
The bailout deal has had its details slowly leaked, that is, until today when the first born children of almost all US families were forced on military transport planes to serve as collateral damage replacement.
No one yet knows how the children will be employed but exemption were apparently given based on parental membership in the decision making body and the people who own them.
