President George W. Bush announced today that he has designated two billion dollars to fund health care for ladybugs.
Surprisingly, more that 100 billion ladybugs are currently without healthcare. "This is a travesty for the bugs which provide essential aphid control for our country's gardens!"
Every sick ladybug means an every increasing aphid population. The challenge will be to collect and document all the bugs; then to issue health cards. The program will start in October 2008.
Every citizen who sees a ladybug should call 1-800-DOBUGME as soon as possible. Ladybug Mobile Alliance Operations (LMAO) will be immobilized immediately!
