US politics has had some odd couple down through the years but the pairing of John McCain and Hillary Clinton may be one of the strangest. United solely by their belief that Barack Obama is the protected media darling of the US press corps, the pair have decided to go out after "The One" and "The Only".
The Bronze God and the Beige Bomber are other appellations being bestowed on the Second City First Citizen by his bipartisan opponents. Supporters of the McClinton team point to the fact that the duo has turned more dirty tricks in politics than the Naive Negro has ever dreamt of.
Both have been in oppressive situations and have survived to tell about what it is like to be tortured and humiliated: "What better preparation is there for the US presidency. We will be ready for whatever disaster should befall us and our nation!"
