Congress today overrode President George Bush's veto of a Barack Obama bill to close two sources of major water torture of Muslim and Massachusetts constituents.
In Massachusetts the Turnpike Authority's massive $14.5 billion dollar dripping highway scam was officially shut down leading to major traffic chaos for the city of Boston.
In Cuba, the Guantanamo Bay Detention Center was also shut down ,with the last 270 militant combatants from Afghanistan dispersed evenly to Vermont and Massachusetts, as their homes of record refused to accept them. Both states have refused to pass Jessica's Law, a hard biting judicial law to take pedophiles off the street, and have indicated, that along with Child Rapists, they are willing to fund programs to try and rehabilitate hard line Islamist militants with more tax payer money, or at the least give them a SBA loan to open a package store.
In 1987 Congress overrode President Reagan's veto for the massive Massachusetts highway construction project which he claimed was too expensive. In 1991 groundbreaking was undertaken and he project has been fraught with cost over runs, massive fraud, inferior labor and materials, lack of oversight, a few deaths and massive tunnel leaks ever since.
At its peak GITMO housed 775 enemy combatants from Afghanistan. Of those released under pressure from world opinion, or deemed innocent, the Pentagon says at least 36 have returned to terrorist activities. US military authorities stated that based on legal opinion, the detainees were not entitled to consideration under the Geneva Convention, but were given prayer rugs, foot bathing facilities, and copies of any of their religious publications despite the number of IUDs they were accused of planting, or the number of their own family members they helped turn into human bombs in the name of religion.
Massachusetts Taxpayers and the GITMO detainees both claimed they were victims of water torture and sued for relief. One Boston business man said driving through one of the 3.5 mile tunnels was akin to driving through a car wash. An earlier 2001 MIT engineering study indicated the project was threatened with poor drainage, rusting steel supports and failing fire protection due to the extensive water intrusion.
During extensive hearings conducted by the Democratic leadership of Massachusetts, no one could be found who would admit to being in charge of the project. Earlier reports in The Spoof even indicated that missing Boston Gangster Whitely Bolger was on the paid inspection team for quality control.
The Obama Team was celebrating today's victory along with the recent announced aid relief plan for Somalia's pirates the Presidential hopeful sponsored. Obama was quoted as saying "Today my people have gained their freedom...tomorrow the world will have its freedom back!"
