Recognising gay marriage has become an increasingly popular sport amongst well-heeled New Yorkers who have even taken to holding 'SameSex Safari Parties' where guests walk in groups and accost those they recognise as being married and gay.
"I spotted four wedded lesbians last week and put it in my notebook" said Gilbert Wendt of the Connecticut Wendts. "I just need a couple of spliced trannies and I have the set." he continued.
It is surprisingly easy to recognise gay marriages in new York due to a series of visual clues involving, leather, dungarees or a proclivity towards melodrama. There are also several auditory clues involving loud hissing and swishing.
It is also said that you can recognise gay married people by the fact that they share the same disillusioned look of abject resignation that traditional married couples have.
