Concord, New Hampshire (IPP) - A hot air balloon enthusiast has successfully filled a hot air balloon by playing a cassette recording of the presidential candidates speeches into the opening of a hot air balloon.
Some campaign promises were more effective than others in filling the balloon. Promises to bring illegal immigration under control and to make the tax code more equitable filled the balloon extremely fast.
Claims that any particular candidate represented real change also were very effective in filling the balloons with hot air.
Edward's speeches on improving health care had very little effect and failed to fill the balloon. It is interesting to note that Edward's is not the media's favorite and he is ignored by the major networks except when he makes a mistake.
All of the republican candidates filled the balloons quickly as did Hillary and Obama. Out of the Republican candidates Huckabee had the least amount of effect on the balloons. Huckabee comes from a relatively humble background and has only a fraction of the money to spend on campaigning that the other candidates have. Huckabee, like Edwards, is usually ignored by the media.
