Paging Doctor Barnett...

San Antonio, TX - "Never pay in advance!" chuckled Doctor William Barnett, as he swung his golf club on the 18th hole of the exclusive Pine Ridge Country Club in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Barnett, who was supposed to have performed a tricky quintuple bypass surgery on the ailing 69 year old Marsha Brown decided to go golfing instead.

"If she had just waited to pay me, like everyone else, I would have done the surgery, no problem... and gotten paid afterwards."

But since Brown decided to pay Doctor Barnett in advance, the surgeon said he simply lost interest in operating on her.

He explained, that by the time the surgery date rolled around, he had already cashed her check and had spent the money on a luxurious Country Club vacation.

Unfortunately for Ms. Brown, Doctor Barnett is the only surgeon in the world capable of performing the tricky quintuple bypass needed to save her life.

"Let this be a lesson to all your readers out there," chuckled Barnett, "If you pay in advance, you're just asking for it."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
