A leaked CIA report has given some indication as to how Osama Bin Laden and many of his Al Qaeda associates have managed to escape from US forces around the world, "they were wearing sneakers" the report states.
In a secret survey carried out between 1960 and 2005 the CIA discovered that 1 in 3 pairs of sneakers were used at some point in their lifes for sneaking. In fact 97% unreported crime is carried out by sneaker wearing criminals. 98.4% of inmates in the USA have listed the fact that they were not wearing sneakers as the main reason they were caught.
The leaked report goes on to state the sneakers have now become the footwear of choice for the vast majority of terrorist groups replacing sandals and flip flops. "Despite sandals being comfortable and good for reduce the potential for foot odour sneakers allow for a far greater sneaking to be carried as they are not as noisy as sandals and flip flops.
