In a strange twists, jailers discovered that a man in custody for the last ten days for rape is actually a woman. The mix-up, among other things, was revealed when the accused was requested to take a shower. Things fell into place when other things fell out of their clothing.
When asked why no one discovered the true gender of the accused before, such as during the mandatory strip search, prison officials had no comment. When asked why it took ten days before the prisoner was given the opportunity to take a shower, prison officials had no comment. When asked why it was not obvious that the individual was female after requesting a box of tampons and a bottle of Midol, prison officials had no comment. When asked why the alleged rapist was quickly the most popular person in the cellblock and soon owned all of the available cigarettes, prison officials had no comment.
The name of the accused is withheld, along with that of the victim, as the girl in question is only fifteen and state law requires confidentiality in such cases where minors are involved.
The victim, however, was questioned by police and asked if she knew the difference between a man and a woman. Pictures were provided. The case took a second turn for the worse when the teenager stood up and scratched her balls.
