Washington - Lawyers for President Donald Trump and radio host Rush Limbaugh have threatened legal action over which personality invented the term "Pencil Neck" to describe their opponents.
Trump has called Democrat representative Adam Schiff "Little Pencil Neck Adam Schiff" as well as "Adam Schitt" several times recently, but Limbaugh actually used the term several years ago to describe one of his antagonists, which he pointed out on his radio show last week.
However, observers have pointed out that the term was actually used by famous wrestler Freddie Blassie in the early 60s to describe his detractors and fellow wrestlers in pre-fight interviews. Blassie even recorded a song, "Pencil Neck Eek" in the 70s.
"Freddie Blassie is a Rino, and he only had one chin, so I don't think he has the right to call anyone a pencil neck", tweeted Limbaugh last night.
