On Twitter: Precedent Trump

The annual US State of the Union address read by the president, has never been given later than 12 February, but after political analysts had earlier predicted that this year's speech may have been as late as Christmas, President Trump took matters into his own hands, and tweeted it.

On Wednesday, Nancy Pelosi had withdrawn her invitation to Trump to address Congress, stating that the situation with the shutdown of the government should be resolved first.

The ever-dependable Trump, never being one to let a small hitch like that get in his way, broke with tradition, and got busy with his fingertips on Twitter.

The tone, as usual was informal.

Trump spoke about 'the disunity of the Union':

"Members of Congress, and my fellow Americans, there is disunity in the Union. We are a disunited nation. The amount of disunification is unpresidented, and I should know - I, myself, am the Precedent!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
