At first, they thought it was just another seasonal prank call... they had to check it out anyway...that's how they roll.

"We get a lot of calls this time of year from residents that have fallen
from their roofs while putting up Christmas lights, but NEVER anything like this. The lady claimed that she went UP the chimney to get away from her grandkids, that were trying to kill her."

The suspects, aged 2 and 4, were taken into custody, but denied any wrongdoing.

"They wanted another popsicle, and I wouldn't let them have one, so they started throwing frozen peas at me. I was afraid for my life. The chimney was the ONLY way out!"

The police report states that she had " other options at her disposal... like the FRONT door."

" I had nowhere to go...nowhere to hide. Have YOU ever been hit with a bag of frozen peas? IT HURTS!"

Police wrote her a citation for "failing to yield when in the company of a minor."

No monkeying around with this case... it will surely come under APPEAL...frozen or not.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
