Mobile, AL - After viewing news reports featuring a speech by former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon at a campaign rally in support of U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore, many Alabamians interviewed afterward said they were not quite as disturbed by the former judge as they were before seeing Bannon.
"Moore makes my skin crawl a little less after watching Bannon, that guy is way over the top", said one woman voter. "If this spooky guy was Trump's right hand man, Moore can't be too bad in comparison", said another.
Bannon runs Breitbart News, purveyors of oddball news stories and conspiracy theories, mostly catering to a far right audience.
"Bannon truly is the weirdest and most sinister guy we've seen here, he sets the standard", said another local. "I usually get the urge to full-on vomit after listening to Moore, but after watching Bannon, Moore just makes me throw up a little in my mouth. And he's a Republican, he needs our support".
