Washington, DC The Republican Party announced today that they would disband rather than back Donald Trump, who according to their process, has won enough delegates to secure the Republican Party nomination for U.S. President.
The Republican Party, also known as the "Grand Old Party" (GOP), started in 1856 and had its first big success when Abraham Lincoln became President. Since then, they had gone farther and farther to the right and even had their own network, Fox News.
"I know we've been thought of as crazy in the past but Trump brings crazy to a whole new level," said a party spokesperson.
"Many Republicans will join the Whig Party, and others will just become Independent" spoke the spokesperson. "Nobody wants to chance being associated with Trump."
