[A press briefing inside the Capital rotunda. A reporter from Fox News asks a question:]
"Senator McConnell! Why are there tanks and troops surrounding the Capitol? Are we at war?"
"No, nothing like that. The President has called out units of the 3rd infantry from Fort Myer for a training exercise, that's all."
[Reporter from CNN:] "Senator, our sources say that the troops are here because President Trump intends to hold the Congress hostage until it enacts his legislative agenda. Can you verify that?"
"I don't know what the source of such an irresponsible rumor could be . . ."
"It's a tweet from President Trump."
[Reporter from MSNBC:] "Senator McConnell, what is the main point of disagreement with the President's agenda? Is it his proposal to reduce the deficit by licensing the use of our military forces to other nations? Is it his plan to merge the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and name the new state Trumpeticut? Or it his plan to eliminate taxes on all real estate associated with the name 'Trump'?"
[Reporter from the BBC:] "Senator, reports are coming in that President Trump has ordered the military to patrol the southern border with Mexico, and that only this morning a group of 27 migrants including women and children were targeted by a Predator drone while trying to enter the U.S. Can you confirm that?"
[Reporter from Al Jazeera:] "Senator, is there any talk among your colleagues of trying to impeach the President?"
[Reporter from Fox News:] "Wait! There's a tweet!"
Haha go ahead and try it and see where it gets you you bunch of losers. I always that thought that negotiating at the point of a gun was just a figure of speech but now wish I had been able to use the army to negotiate deals before I was elected! #POTUSTRUMP
