After a few months of rooming together a young professional by the name of Joseph Radcliffe decides enough is enough.
Joe thought that his roommate was just going through a tough time in his life. "We all go through stages of life. I thought that eventually the yelling and sulking would stop, but it seems like this is more than a phase. I don't know how much more I can take."
Joe has read several books on the issue and consulted friends and family, but none of the advice has been helping. "Last night he was hitting the bottle pretty hard. This seems to be the new routine - binging, purging and his temper is running wild. His tolerance for everything is nearing zero. If the apartment is one degree too cold he's 'freezing' if it's one degree too hot he can't sleep."
What makes matters worse is that Joe's wife typically sympathizes with the new roommate. Cleaning up the throw up and making sure he's okay. "She is so busy worrying about him that we often don't get time to ourselves," Joe said in a disappointed demeanor. "She's often tired and aloof from all the running around she does for the snot-nose."
Luckily the situation has gotten better over the last week with help from Joe's parents. "My parents are awesome for helping out since they have experience with this situation. I'm just glad they are willing to babysit on Fridays so I can finally get some quality time with my wife. I don't know why we ever decided to have a baby. Hopefully Joey Junior will grow out of this childish behavior soon."
