Today is a momentous day for NBC. Brian Williams, one of our reporters and the anchor of "NBC Nightly News," who lied about his role and experience covering events in the field, and admitted lying, has now admitted that he lied about lying.
"It was pressure, "Williams said, crying into a Sears hanky, "that I succumbed to. And I lied about the lie."
"We're so happy,"a lady wearing a raincoat," said. "That Lester Holt just is too straight. We need someone that'll embellish the news."
"Have you learned anything, Mr. Williams?" a man in a vest and tie asked.
"Yes. Yes," Williams said. "I learned that you should never admit you lied. Then you don't have to admit that your admission was a lie."
Brian Williams returns to his program as he renegotiates his contract.
