WASHINGTON, DC -The U.S. Treasury Secretary, Jack Lew, said Wednesday it will introduce a $3 bill with an LGBT community member's portrait, a victory for campaigners who have been pushing for U.S. currency to be more inclusive.
The final choice of honoree will rest with Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, though there is plenty of public support for a variety of choices.
Who do you think should be on the new $3 dollar bill?
A) Caitlyn Jenner
B) Former U.S. Senator Barney Frank
C) Ellen Degeneres
D) Rupaul
E) Robin Williams
Many in Congress want to repeal a U.S. law, passed in 1866, that prohibits portraits of any living person on currency.
In related news, Donald Trump says that if elected President, he will direct the Treasury Department to create a new $1 Billion Dollar Bill.
