Wichita Fools, North Texarse - A two-hump camel's rutting season debut got off on the wrong hoof this weekend with the sudden trampling to death of stud staff.
Keepers at the Camel Kisses Farm were fatally run down in a breeding pen by three year-old Sinbad over some suspected coitus interruptus stuff.
The beast had earlier been introduced to a pair of females inside the enclosure and was
reportedly in a highly agitated state.
An assistant keeper who witnessed the trampling said Sinbad's manhood was already up and running when animal sanctuary owners entered the pen, 'maybe upsetting the delicate camel piss-scented eco-system' prepared by the groom for his pair of brides.
"It spooked the females into turning tail and bolting for the home enclosure," assistant keeper Rolf Sumpty commented.
"Sinbad just lashed out like any over-testosteroned male, sure looked pissed at the wasted erection."
The farm will now close pending autopsy results.
