WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Obama cut short his planned day of golf and hurried back to the White House when he heard on CNN that there is a possibility of Al Qaeda operatives living in Yuma, Arizona.
The president said that the rumors came from a source in Seattle who reported overhearing a FedEx delivery man say that his cousin, who also works as a FedEx delivery man recently delivered a box of hand grenades to an address in Yuma.
President Obama stated to the press that he takes a FedEx shipment of hand grenades pretty serious.
He noted that sometimes college kids in California will write stuff on food items boxes such as "AK-47's," "Rocket Launchers." and even "Nuclear Weapon."
The president explained that it is better to check it out just in case. He did say that if he finds out that the package was sent as a practical joke by some GOP talk show host, he will see that the culprit's show is cancelled immediately if not sooner.
