WASHINGTON, D.C. - Newt Gingrich had just finished having lunch at The Gunfight At The OK Corral Steakhouse in D.C. when he was approached by a reporter with the Republican publication GOPicky Magazine.
Gingrich talked to Amos Soursuckle with GOPicky as he walked back to his office.
Soursuckle asked the former speaker of the house what he thought about Michele Bachmann's recent comment that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie cannot beat Hillary Clinton in a race for the White House.
Gingrich made a face and said that the congresswoman from the 6th district of Minnesota really needs to keep her trap shut because she has no idea what she is talking about.
He went on to say that Bachmann needs to learn that no one in the United States, with the one possible exception of her homophobic husband, gives a rat's ass about what she thinks.
Newt said that he has never liked Michele Bachmann and not just because she has a hairdo that women stopped wearing back in 1973.
He also noted that he cannot stand a woman who says that she does not need to know how to cook because she is so rich she can hire a cook to cook for her.
SIDENOTE: Governor Chris Christie was reached at his office and asked to comment on Michele Bachmann's remark about him. He shook his head and remarked that it is amazing how Michele Bachmann and Gary Busey have the same exact hairdo.
