NEWARK, New Jersey - The happy, rotund governor of New Jersey Chris Christie has been having a bit of a difficult time lately due to situations regarding that bridge lane closure mess, the Hurricane Sandy funds issue, and the missing 215 Butterball turkeys.
The governor recently appeared on The Viagra View with Regis Philbin and Larry King and he told them that he has faith that things will turn around soon, a whole lot sooner than they did for that problem Tinsel Town child Lindsay "Freckles" Lohan.
Governor Christie was chosen to be the chairman for The Republican Governors Association.
And in that capacity he went out and spearheaded a fundraising event.
The governor, who has one of the most creative minds on the entire Right Coast, hit upon the idea of having strippers and pole dancers give lap dances in exchange for $200.
The entire $200 was taken and put into the RGA fund.
SIDENOTE: After all was said and done Governor Christie, with the help of his tremendously popular idea, broke the all-time one month GOP fundraising record with an amount of $6 million for the month of January.
