Scientists have provided the police in major cities with a new taser-like gun that makes the perp think he or she is invisible.

"This is great", said one officer who has tried it out. "I sprayed this guy and let him leave to see where he was headed. He thought no one could see him and he led us right to the rest of that gang which has been robbing the jewelry stores here in the city."

Apparently the guy also stopped to do some nasty things as he passed women. He couldn't seem to understand why they shrank and ran away.

"It's possible that something would get out of hand because, in a couple of cases, perps have disrobed and cause some collateral damage but we can step in any time as he thinks we can't see him", stated a Precinct Captain.

The officers say that a lady shoplifter liked to wave the jewelry in front of our eyes as we pretended we couldn't see her but grabbed the jewelry and put it back. She then slipped it into her purse.

"Of course, they come out of it in about 20-30 minutes and you should see how the nude ones react! Have Joe over there to tell you about the case we had of the mime in the invisible cube and was also a pickpocket. It's hilarious!"
