The Federal Government has privately warned that if any countries should try to call in huge loans, they will quit trading and begin producing that country's legal tender by sophisticated copiers.

"A lot of other countries have copied our dollars and sent them around the world", stated one worker at the United States Treasury.

Asked if that would be doing the same thing we condemned in others, he replies, "Listen, a lot of those countries have owed us in the past which we have forgiven. They owe the U.S. a lot. So this would be fair."

Others who work at the Treasury reported to us that "We have saved country after country during two World Wars plus other smaller wars. They owe us big time for that."

A third employee stated that we could estimate what it cost us over the centuries and print that amount of foreign moneys.

"We have printing machines that can do almost anything and a country can't simply change currency without a major panic. We need to get our house in order first, but if worse comes to worse, we have that option."

Upon news of these type of reports, the worlds markets actually rose several points, thinking that no one can do anything to disturb all our Whistling in the dark.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
