FRUITA, Colorado - Colorado State Police report that they have arrested the all-girl rock band Martie Martin & The Marijuana Joints in the town of Fruita, close to the Colorado-Utah border.

CSP officers stated that they stopped the band's van as it was weaving rather oddly while traveling west on Interstate 70.

As soon as the California-bound van was stopped officers noticed one hell of a pot smell coming from inside the van.

Officer Virgil Puggle, 42, remarked that there was so much friggin smoke in the van that it looked like there was a damn cloud in the vehicle.

He expressed the fact that he could hardly see the driver and the three other female passengers.

The four band members ranging in age from 21 to 26 were asked to exit the vehicle and stand on the shoulder with their legs spread apart.

Officer Perry Fandango, 29, who admits to being gay, was chosen to frisk the four girls to make sure they were not hiding any marijuana in any of their personal orifices or intimate cavities.

After searching for 21 minutes Officer Fandango remarked that he did not find anything of an illegal nature on or in any of the girls.

Martie Martin, the lead singer with the band, asked Officer Fandango if he was sure he was gay.

He grinned and replied that he was gay...as gay as Tiger Woods.

SIDENOTE: The girls were arrested and charged with trying to smuggle 400 pounds of marijuana from Colorado into California.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
