Last minute negotiations between Santa Claus and Canada Post have saved millions of folks's Christmas dinners.

Changes to Canada Post's delivery strategy for rural areas meant peanut butter sandwiches and milk for Christmas dinner was all that could be hoped for this year.

Ground breaking negotiations with a major turkey farmer, a superstore chain and Santa Claus have meant that prople need only have been good adults all year round to be eligible for a "Santa Hamper", which will come down the chimney on Christmas Eve. Santa's new C.E.O has released outline proposals to supply reindeer steaks and vegetarian nut roasts, but again these are only for good adults.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
