NYC Police told the press this morning that they had arrested one Howard Applegate for car theft after they got him out of the trunk while screaming to anyone he heard on the street to call 911.
Applegate confessed that he was the person stripping cars in the neighborhood once he was pulled out of the car trunk. "Just get me to the emergency room!"
Apparently Applegate was in the trunk of the Toyota trying to unhook some speakers when a passing Husky saw it opened and jumped in with him managing to close the trunk lid while doing so.
After treatment for bites and restoring an ear and treated for shock, Applegate was taken to jail where he was first given a shower.
The dog was restored to his owner who stated that he had accidentally left a window up by a fire escape that led into an alley.
"Bloomberg isn't normally aggressive but he did have diarrhea yesterday."
