McINTYRE, Georgia - There is surprise in the Alana Thompson household as little Honey Boo Boo child as she refers to herself has been invited to visit North Korea by Kim Jong Un.
At first Honey Boo Boo's mama, June "Mama" Shannon thought that the email had come from the family's gay relative Uncle Poodle, who is a notorious practical joker.
Uncle Poodle once put eye shadow, lipstick, and a training bra on one of Honey Boo Boo's daddy Mike "Sugarbear" Thompson's award-winning, egg-laying hens Henrietta.
And now, thanks to his niece, Uncle Poodle now has his very own reality show called The Gay Hillbillies of Georgia.
The show which is filmed in McIntyre, co-stars Uncle Poodle's boyfriend Joshua Yarbrough who lives with him in a trailer located at The Cornbread & Grits Trailer Park.
Misty Jo Toonweather appears on the show as their extremely sexy platonic neighbor who works as the featured dancer at the Gold Pole Strip Lounge.
In fact Misty Jo has agreed to accompany Honey Boo Boo and her daddy Sugarbear on little Alana's trip to Pyongyang, North Korea.
Sugarbear says that his wife can't go because she breaks out in a bothersome rash when she flies in an airplane plus she gets so nervous she has to go to the bathroom every seven minutes or so.
Honey Boo Boo will be bringing along some of her mama's homemade okra-flavored diet cornbread which "Mama" Shannon made special for Kimmy Jong Un.
