The US border guards have got quite a problem on their hands because they just cannot stop smugglers invading the country from all sides!
Mexican smugglers in the south enjoy a free for all whilst dodging dodgy border guards who seem to arrest Mexican immigrants searching for work, but just cannot stop the flow of drugs entering the country; very fishy and it stinks too!
In the north Canadian smugglers it seems have no problem smuggling their cheeses in to the US and even claim that the border has as many holes as Swiss Cheese.
The US customs authorities are determined to stamp out cheese smuggling and have had sniffer dogs specially trained in the art of whiffing smuggled cheese; a thing that any normal person could whiff, but we are talking about the US and as usual, they have to do exaggerate everything.
The Canadian cheese smugglers always seem to be a step ahead of the border guards and have devised sophisticated methods of throwing the dogs off of the scent of their cheeses and here is a recent example:
The US authorities found Canadian smuggled cheeses wrapped up in the socks of Canadian Mounties who's feet stink after wearing those high boots all day. The cheeses were only discovered after one of the sniffer dogs fainted sniffing the socks!
