The GOP House of Representatives passed legislation on Friday granting millions of dollars in tax breaks for puppy mill owners.
John Boehner Speaker of the House stated, "It is time for these hard working folks to be recognized for their contribution to our society. Without them, our dog fighting industry would be in shambles, relegated to the status of dog doo.
"Not on my watch! It's a Rolex, you know! Dog fighting provides jobs to thousands of hard working Americans and their families, families that go to church on Sunday, live by the rules and teach their children to pray and pick the wings off flies. They are the forgotten ones!"
Eric Cantor, Majority Leader of the House of Representatives followed Boehner; "If these dogs don't want to have puppies, it is up to them to just say NO at the first sniff. After all this is what individual responsibility is all about. Besides, if God wanted junk yard dogs to be human beings, he would have made them hedge fund managers!"
