DETROIT - Mitt Romney recently spoke before a crowd estimated at around 523 in Detroit's Carburetor Coliseum.

Afterwards he sat down with Mistletoe Bulova of The Political Drive Thru Window. She asked Romney if he had heard from fellow Republican Ron Paul, who has said that he does not plan on voting for him in November.

Romney shook his head and replied that he hadn't. He then added that he is not worried because if Ron Paul votes for President Obama, like he has hinted he is going to, it will just be one vote.

When told that Congressman Paul may also convince his wife to vote for the president as well, Romney became somewhat irritated and remarked, "Okay Missy, let's say that Mrs. Paul also votes for Obama, well big whoop, that's only two votes - two votes and to be honest I want to go on record as saying that I do not need their two friggin votes."

Miss Bulova stated that she did not mean to get Romney all agitated.

He smiled and said that it really takes a lot to get him agitated. The reporter asked like what for instance?

Romney thought for a moment and then he disclosed that he cannot stand it when reporters ask him questions about his hair. Is your hair real? What kind of shampoo do you use? Do you dye your hair to make yourself look younger?

Bulova then inquired if he has any idea yet who he may want as his GOP running mate. He smiled as he took a drink of his V-8 and said that he is leaning towards giving the second place nod on the ticket to country music singer Hank Williams Jr.

"Hank Williams Jr.? Why?" Miss Bulova asked puzzled.

Romney replied because he wants to help lock up the good old Southern boy vote. He pointed out that if he picks Hank it will pretty much guarantee him the drinking vote, the hunting vote, the fishing vote, the tobacco-chewing vote, and the overall hell-raising vote.

Bulova smiled and simply said, "Hmmmmm."

SIDENOTE: Miss Bulova called up President Obama to get his take on Romney possibly putting Hank Williams Jr., on the GOP presidential ticket. But his mother-in-law Marian Robinson stated that the president was on the White House red phone talking to the winner of this year's American Idol, Phillip Phillips.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
