As local election stories flood in thick and fast, with plenty of thick councillors being elected and plenty of election agent getting out of there fast, it has been reported that the British Nazi Party has lost all five seats they held on Stoke city council.
In an interview with the leader of the BNP group Hermann Smith and local party chairman Patrick Goering, both former councillors were said to be devastated.
Mt Smith said he didn't know how it had happened. He said that one minute they had seats and the next minute they hadn't. He added that he couldn't understand it, because he was almost 100% certain the seats hadn't moved since the start of the election.
Mr Goering said that he had spent the entire morning looking for the seats, but there was definitely no sight of them. He said that he hadn't really though about seats, because his supporters (Mary and Fred Hitler) had originally asked him to stand for election, so he thought that meant he didn't need a seat.
He quipped "if ever I get invited to take part in Question Time, forget about alleged BNP policies, I just want to know where the seats went.
"Now where is that map of Poland? Our members have some marching to do."
