A copycat incident has occurred in Manchester where, following Mary Bale's disposal of a cat in a wheelie bin, a lamb one month old has been found bleating in a wheelie bin.
The RSPCA have taken care of the animal, named Freddie, which is having a hurt eye treated. 'It is not every day we find a lamb dumped in a wheelie bin' said an RSPCA Inspector 'now we fear that someone will find another animal to dispose of. Sooner or later there will be a death.'
A farmer, who contacted the RSPCA offered to care for Freddie. 'It could still produce some fine lamb chops' declared the farmer 'but we would never put it in a wheelie bin.'
Police are looking for a sheepish man who was seen driving an Audi near the wheelie bin.
