Brown is hoping to bag a fee

'Lord' Mandleson's office has announced that its old client Gordon Brown is to make a speech in the House of Commons admitting that most of his policies as Chancellor and Prime Minister were wrong.

Westminster gossip has it that he is looking for a place in the coalition government. When asked which side he would take in the referendum on the voting system, all 'Lord' Mandleson's office would say was "Which side is winning?"

Brown is at the moment rushing round Africa and the Middle East negotiating for fees to advise autocratic governments on how to stay in power. However he is not getting much response, usually being told that Tony Blair has already been there.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
