After many months of a "catless" existence in Nr 10 the UK PM decided to trot off to Battersea Dogs and Cats home to buy Larry the Cat, not Felix, Larry.
The carers at Battersea advised PM Cameron about Larry and thought he would do a good job hunting the gathering rats in Nr 10.
It seems to have worked because ever since Larry was introduced to the rest of the staff and shown his litter-box, many rats have been seen scampering towards the front door, waving to the paparazzi and press whilst jumping in their limo's and scampering for their lives.
Rats dressed in pin-striped suits with blue and yellow rosettes on their lapels is quite a spectacle especially when the opposition is starting to see "red" and show it's claws.
Cameron is convinced Larry will do a good job at keeping the rats at bay (opposition and his own) and Larry has already asked for a secret expense account to keep in line with other "pussies" hoping to be stroked by David and Nick.
Maybe they should have tried rat poison first?
