As President Obama spared a turkey prior to Thanksgiving in America, the Queen stepped up to save Camilla from the role of Queen, as suggested by Prince Charles in a mumble to American Television.
The full announcement from Buckingham Palace read:
Her Majesty the Queen, whilst appreciating her son's need to plan for the aftermath of her death, after consulting with King Philip, has advised Prince Charles to refrain from public pronouncements before she has actually gone.
This stark announcement, promoting her husband to become King Philip, ensures that Charles will also have to wait for Philip to go before he gets the go ahead. Meanwhile Philip has suggested to Charles that he remains on his Dartmoor estate palace at Princetown at her Majesty's pleasure, for the forseeable future.
Supporters of William for a takeover after the Queen's demise are growing more vocal every day. This last parry from Charles over Camilla has opened a Can of Worms. Would William have a Queen Kate after he takes over from Charles?
Princess Anne has also decided to take her case to the European Court of Human Rights on the grounds of sex discrimination. She feels that she should take over from Charles when he departs for the next kingdom, as his younger sister.
Rival monarchies are in prospect for this country. We will have King Charlie and his Queen Calomine, King William and his Queen Katherine, Queen Anne with her horses. King Philip could be presiding over the collapse of the dynasty.
Court watcher Penelope Crawler expressed the views of many when she said 'Long Live the Queen!'
