Though sources are not sure who started it, Prime Minister David Cameron and film-maker James Cameron got in a red hot shouting match over the phone -- yelling repeatedly at each other to "Back the f(*)ck off!"
A partial transcript is as follows:
(0847 GMT) Cameron: "I am telling you to back the f(*)ck off."
Cameron: "I am not backing the f(*)ck off until you back the f(*)ck off."...
(0912 GMT) Cameron: "Are you telling me to back the f(*)ck off?!? You and what army are going to make me?!?"
Cameron: "Is there an echo in here? I said back the f(*)ck off!"...
(0930 GMT) Cameron: "Shall I ask you again to politely back the f(*)ck off?!?!?"
Cameron: "What part of back the f(*)ck off don't you understand?!?!?!?"
Cameron: "I'm not asking you to back the f(*)ck off, I'm telling you to back the f(*)ck off!!!"
Cameron: "If I wanted your opinion, I would squeeze it out of you. Now back the f(*)ck off, I say!!!!"
Publicists for both personalities say that it was just a big misunderstanding and that the two remain good friends -- just as long the other guy remains "backed the f(*)ck off".
