Mary Bale, the evil, 45-year-old woman who threw a cat into a wheelie bin in Coventry this week, has admitted she made a monumental mistake in doing so, and says she will be a damned sight more careful next time.
She told me:
"It was a monumental mistake. I should have checked to see if there was CCTV before doing what I did. A casual glance upwards would have alerted me to the fact that I was being filmed. It was a childlike error."
She went on:
"I was in a rush. I was late coming home, and my husband was waiting for his tea. I needed to act quickly, and didn't give it a thought that some nosy bastard might have placed a camera up there. It's been a lesson for me."
Mary's husband, Bert, laughed:
"The thing is, she was still late with me tea! Silly bitch!"
